Reviews for Crunchy Romaine Strawberry Salad
"Made this for my brother's graduation party & was surprised by how many people asked for the recipe - over half a dozen! Thanks for making me look like a super star ;)"
"This was very tasty. Didn't change it at all. My family's only complaint was that there wasn't more! I guess I will have to double it next time."
"This salad was really good, but I have to admit that I changed the dressing a little bit, because 1/4 cup sugar is WAY too much for European palates. I only used 2 Tbsp of sugar, and added mustard powder and parsley for a bit of flavour, it was kind of bland without it."
"I've made this recipe numerous for family and friends, and everyone always enjoys it! It's also delicious when Napa cabbage is substituted for the romaine."
"This salad is delicious and the crunchy topping really adds something extra. I will definitely make this again."
"This is an excellent recipe. I halved it for 3 people. It is great!"
"I brought this recipe in to church for a potluck. Since it's Lenten season, we couldn't have any meat.. or dairy products until Easter. I used canola oil to stir fry the ramen noodles and walnuts.. my cousin even mentioned that you can stir fry them in a dry pan (just for a shorter period of time). This went over very well! I hardly had anything to bring back home. :)"
"Quick and easy to make, this salad is a nice change-up for lovers of tossed salads."
"This is the best salad I've ever tasted. I've forwarded the recipe to several friends and family already, and I've never taken the time to do that before! Great combination of flavors. So yummy!"
"This salad was awesome!! we like the dressing doubled. My husband and I eat it for our supper!"
"This is a favorite recipe for our family get togethers, everyone loves it!"
"Everyone loves this when I make it!"
"Excellent recipe - also easy! I think I will use a little less butter next time, as the noodles and walnuts were a little oily. I put on paper towels to drain a bit. Other than that, tasty as is!"
"Everyone loves this salad and it has become one of those "go to" recipes for all occasions."
"I loved this and will definitely make it again!!! I doubled the dressing, and will most likely double the noodles and walnuts next time - that part really made the salad stand out and there just wasn't enough of that for me!! The flavor of the toasted walnuts was perfect with the other ingredients. I also added a little salt and pepper to taste (to my own portion). Yum! Thanks, Leslie!"
"This is one of my absolute favorite salads. My husband is always glad when I make it. The combination of ingredients is so tasty."

"This is one of our favorite salads. I made this recipe (without the onions) for my husband and I's wedding reception last year. It was a huge hit with everyone!!! Very refreshing on a summer day!!!"
"I've made this salad several times and it it always a hit! "
"Wonderful salad! The added crunch of the ramen noodles really makes it. I don't think it would serve 12, however. 6 servings is more like it."
" I, too, love this salad and just the two of us can eat the whole thing. I use grape nuts cereal for the walnuts, which gives it a sweeter taste. Oh so good!!!!!!! We can't wait until June when fresh local strawberries are available to make it.
"The only time I know ALL the salad will be eaten is when I make this one. I've substituted canned madarine oranges for the strawberries and slivered almonds for the walnuts because we like them better. The salad is just as good. This is a great recipe."
"I have taken this salad to numerous church potlucks and friends' homes and everyone loves it! In fact, people wait in line for this salad and always comment on how good it is.Brenda JohnsonWinston-Salem, NC"
