Reviews for Crunchy Onion Barbecue Chicken
"My chicken turned out tender. I felt it needed more flavor so dipped in bbq sauce as I ate."
"This was so simple and fast! We loved this and will make it many more times! Perfect for a busy weeknight dinner!"
"It has been requested again this week. I'd say that is a testimonial that it is great."
"I'm very glad I decided to give this a try. I was very skeptical and didn't think it would turn out to well but it turned out great and tastes amazing. I am very impressed!"
"OMG!!! Delicious.....I made it without the cheese but only because we have a lactose intolerant person eating with us. Made it with baked potatoes and mixed vegetables. Will definitely be making again."
"Have no idea how this can be called "healthy". BBQ sauce is loaded with sugar, French fried onion rings speaks for itself and cheese."
"I made this exactly like the recipe.Note** I usually love TOH recipes, however, this did not turn out well for me. The chicken filets were not tender & there was too much onion mixture. My husband thought the chicken was tough & his piece seemed that way. I do not know what was wrong..sadly- I won't make this again. Note to people who submit their recipes....keep on submitting. It takes courage plus talent --some of the reviews are very insulting to the submitters. Shame on them! I love TOH recipe help and I have learned so much from the reviews and the submitters of the recipes."
"This tasted great. easy to make and fast. My wife and I loved it. I will be making this again."
"This is a great recipe for anyone on a low-fat diet. Tastes great and something different from the usual chicken recipes you find. My husband loves this and I will be making it often!"
"NO good for me"
"I've made this several times - didn't change a thing and love it!"
"I was not prepared for how delicious this was going to be. Will be making this all the time!"
"My dad is fussy and he LOVES this!"
"I honestly cannot believe how amazing this recipe is! So simple, inexpensive and quick! The French-fried onions and barbecue sauce create a carmelized sauce that is unique and tasty! I will definitely make this again."
"This is one of my favorites! It is easy to make, very flavorful and extremely moist! I use tenders instead of large breasts and this makes it even easier!"
"I rated this 3 stars because my husband liked it. My children and I did not. The tastes together were weird to me..maybe because i used honey bbq sauce?? It also took an hour to cook..but they were big breasts...since I usually eat the leftovers being a stay at home mom, I prob. won' t make it again."
"This was a big hit with my husband and me. In fact making it again tonight for dinner."
"I made this chicken for my 2nd time tonight & it is absolutely wonderful. My husband normally complains about the "healthy" food that I make, but he loved this...and didn't even know it was low in fat and calories. I always have a lb. of fresh parmesan on hand, so I grated my own & it came out delicious."
"easy and very good"
"I made the receipe just as written which I always do the first time. It was excellent. It will stay in my rotation of five star dishes. Great recipe. I highly recommend it."
"A great casual dish to prepare for friends. An easy and tasty meal for your family."
"Love this recipe! Cut some up for my 10 month old son too and he loved it. Planning on using the leftovers in a barbeque chicken wrap."
"Really easy, really good!"
"Wow, the chicken came out so moist and juicy! Just like the recipe stated!"
"I wasn't sure how the ingredients would taste combined, but this was delicious and so moist!!!"
"I put the chicken on the grill, but turning it was a problem, but turned out ok."
"I thought this was really tasty and my husband was in heaven. A while back they were advertising a recipe like this on tv and my husband was commenting on how good it looked. I cringed as I thought about how unhealthy it would be. Glad I found a way to make both of us happy!"
"I will make this over and over. easy and very good, definite a keeper! My husband loves it."
"My daughter helped me make this, it was easy enough for her to read the recipe and do it. My family really loved it. The flavors work well together."
"This is simple but delicious! I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce that I had on hand. I doubled the recipe for my needs and the lg. (6-oz) can onion rings was 2-2/3 cups. I dipped one side in crumbles, but there was leftovers which I sprinkled over the breasts on the pans. A hit and definite keeper!"
"Absolutely delicious! Even my sister who doesn't like BBQ sauce thought it was terrific."
