Crunchy Bagel Chips Recipe
- 2 unsliced bagels (about 4 inches)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1. Refrigerate bagels for 1 hour. Cut into 1/4-in. slices. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Combine butter and garlic salt; brush over bagel slices.
- 2. Bake at 325° for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. Yield: about 3 dozen.

"I forgot to refrigerate the bagles for an hour, not sure what that step is for but I don't think it made any difference anyway. Biggest problem I had was all the bagles here are pre-sliced, so instead of chips they were the size of croutons .. next time I'd use a bagette! :D"
