- 2 unsliced bagels (about 4 inches)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- Refrigerate bagels for 1 hour. Cut into 1/4-in. slices. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Combine butter and garlic salt; brush over bagel slices.
- Bake at 325° for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. Yield: about 3 dozen.

"Love these!!! my bagels were pre-sliced so just sliced them the opposite way.. I got 4 slices per bagel.... they crisped up perfectly, I did 14 minutes per side. Did a batch of cinnamon raisin and then cranberry... both excellent!!! Didn't add any seasonings but would if they weren't the flavored bagels... thanks so much for sharing!!"
"I forgot to refrigerate the bagles for an hour, not sure what that step is for but I don't think it made any difference anyway. Biggest problem I had was all the bagles here are pre-sliced, so instead of chips they were the size of croutons .. next time I'd use a bagette! :D"
