I often make a big batch of these peanut butter-flavored cereal bars on days that I don't want to heat up the kitchen. Kids especially love them, so they're great for picnics, potlucks and school bake sales. —Jane Thompson, Eureka, Illinois

"Try with half the sugar and corn syrup, doubling the peanut butter. We are the guardians of sweet snacks for our children and grandchildren., so it's up tp us to lower the chances of obesity and diabetes, not to mention the many other health problems years doen the road. I've used a similar variation for many years and know your famlily won't even notice athe taste of a slightly healthier variation."

"Quick, easy, and versatile! Easy to change/tailor the recipe to suit your tastes- reese's peices instead of m & ms, cheerios instead of rice krispies, so many options! Love the "cheating" with the microwave and not having to use the stove- genius!"
