Creole Seasoning Recipe
This spicy seasoning adds warmth-in more ways than one!-to the holidays and all year-round. The versatile mix is as good on popcorn as it is on chicken or potato wedges. Try packaging it in pretty shakers.
- 2/3 cup cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup plus 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- 1/4 cup onion powder
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons pepper
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months. Yield: About 2 cups.
