Ingredients

  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • Salad greens

Nutritional Facts

2 tablespoon: 183 calories, 20g fat (4g saturated fat), 12mg cholesterol, 188mg sodium, 1g carbohydrate (1g sugars, 0 fiber), 0 protein.

Directions

  1. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the oil, sour cream, cream, vinegar, salt and garlic; shake well. Chill. Serve with salad greens. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 1-2/3 cups.

"We actually liked this dressing--I agree that the garlic taste I was hoping for was lacking just a bit but overall it was very good. Just add more garlic."

"I made this..and I don't think just mincing garlic to put in a dressing will give it that garlic taste unless you roasted the garlic or something and the vinegar taste was more strong than the other flavors in the dressing."
