  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2-1/2 to 3 cups confectioners' sugar


  • In a heavy saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter and milk; bring
  • to a boil over medium heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from
  • the heat; stir in vanilla. Cool to lukewarm. Gradually beat in
  • confectioners' sugar until frosting achieves spreading consistency.
  • Yield: about 2-1/4 cups.
