Creamy Apple Salad Recipe

This family favorite is especially good with pork chops or ham. The quick and easy side dish is one I serve often that we never tire of.—Brenda Hildebrandt, Moosomin, Saskatchewan
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 15 min. YIELD:6-8 servings


  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 medium tart apples, peeled and diced


  • 1. In a bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Add sugar; continue beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in the apples. Yield: 6-8 servings.
