Cranberry-Orange Shake Recipe
This recipe came with a blender our sons gave us for Christmas back in the 1960s. We made a batch that year and every year since!—Anna Mae Roth, Milford, Nebraska
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- Red liquid food coloring, optional
- 1. In a blender, combine the ice cream and juices; cover and process for 50-60 seconds or until smooth. Tint with food coloring if desired. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.
1 serving (1 cup) equals 205 calories, 7 g fat (4 g saturated fat), 29 mg cholesterol, 55 mg sodium, 34 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 3 g protein.
