Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple, chopped
  • 1 celery rib, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions

In a serving bowl, combine the apple, celery and cranberries. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice. Pour over apple mixture and toss gently to coat. Yield: 2 servings.

"A cool fresh tasting salad i add grapes and pecans . I triple the recipe . We enjoy this salad and have been told by others how good it is."

"I've used dried currants (next to the raisins at the store) in this recipe. I also add walnuts - more like restuarants serve then."
