“This is always a hit when my husband and I bring them to parties. They're especially great for sporting events and always seem to compliment the other food being served," says Susan Dugat of Rockport, Texas.

"A lot of work, but definitely worth it. They're even good cold the next day even though, at that point, they look terrible."

"My husband is so proud of himself when he makes a batch of these for a gathering! We have been making these for a few years now and everyone loves them! He is always asked to make more for the next function! We sometimes substitute baby bell peppers for the jalapeno's for those folks who can't handle a little heat. We also partially cook regular pork bacon before wrapping around peppers to bake. We don't care for turkey bacon..We often stuff them the night before and wrap & bake just before serving."

"Instead of stuffing a whole jalapeno, I halved them. Chopped up the bacon and mixed it into the filling instead of wrapping. VERY good - made them for Christmas; the family loved them!"
