Reviews for Corn with Cilantro-Lime Butter
"What a great addition to my recipe file! The lime butter is so good. What it does to corn is amazing. I will not have corn with out this lime butter!"
"Loved the flavor of the corn. A good alternative to traditional."
"I never find myself with exactly the same ingredients needed for a recipe. Once again, I had to substitute. But, thankfully Taste of Home has great inspiration to start with like this delicious butter! I used chopped jalapeno pepper in place of the cilantro. I like a little kick to my food, and the jalapeno did not disappoint! I think I'll add little bits of bacon, next time! Yum!"
"Great corn!! We will be making this again."
"I used parsley instead of cilantro...one of those taste things! Very good recipe."
"Wow! This is a keeper! Since it was just 3 of us for a casual family dinner, I just mixed the cilantro, lime juice and peel into reduced fat margarine, and it was still fantastic. (I'll use the chilled butter log for company). If you don't have any cotija, parmesan can be subbed and it really boosts the flavor."
"This butter was a HUGE hit at my last BBQ! The tanginess of the lime and the freshness of the cilantro take this over the top. It is even good served on steaks."
"This was a nice change from plain butter. You just want to make it when the flavor does not compete with your menu."
"My family loves this recipe so much that we put it on grilled meats as well"
"Loved this butter on corn! I now keep some in the fridge, so it's ready when I decide to make corn."
"This is a nice combination of flavors. I'm allergic to dairy, so I used light olive oil instead of the butter and drizzled the mixture over the corn. I served it with rice, carrots and baked fish for a delicious summer meal."
"We liked this. I used fresh cilantro from the garden. The lime was a little strong."
"This was excellent. Had great taste. Did not use the cheese."
"So delicious! Love the cilantro and lime flavoring! We will definitely be making this again soon."
"Oh Wow! I just made this today and it is the best corn I have ever tasted! I made it as directed and even used the cheese though I found it in a strange place in the grocery story and not with the other cheeses. So glad I found it! The corn is sweet and adding the zesty butter just compliments perfectly...I could see this being gobbled up at a BBQ for sure!!!"
"The cilantro and lime pair well together and really enhance the freshness and flavor of the corn."
"Really fresh and not overpowering!"
