Cool-As-A-Cucumber Salad Recipe
The lightly sweet blend of ingredients adds a refreshing touch to sliced cukes right out of the garden.—Joleen Jackson, Zumbrota, Minnesota
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup half-and-half cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
- 3 medium cucumbers, sliced
- 1. In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Add cucumbers; toss to coat. Refrigerate until serving. Yield: 4-6 servings.
1 serving (3/4 cup) equals 203 calories, 16 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 12 mg cholesterol, 106 mg sodium, 13 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 2 g protein.
