Cookout Caramel S'mores Recipe

These gooey treats make a great finish to an informal meal. Toasting the marshmallows extends our after-dinner time together, giving us something fun to do as a family. —Martha Haseman, Hinckley, Illinois
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 10 min. YIELD:4 servings


  • 8 large marshmallows
  • 4 whole reduced-fat graham crackers, halved
  • 2 teaspoons fat-free chocolate syrup
  • 2 teaspoons fat-free caramel ice cream topping


  • 1. Using a long-handled fork, toast marshmallows 6 in. from medium heat until golden brown, turning occasionally. Place two marshmallows on each of four graham cracker halves. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and caramel topping. Top with remaining crackers. Yield: 4 servings.

"Sounds good but I think instead of the choc. syrup I will stick with chocolate squares. Using syrup just seems like cheating :)"
