Cocoa for a Crowd Recipe
Cocoa for a Crowd comes from Pat Monson of Stewartville, Minnesota. "On a winter day, this cocoa really hits the spot," Pat assures.
- 4 cups sugar
- 3 cups baking cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 quart warm water
- 2 quarts boiling water
- 4 gallons hot milk
- 1. In a large kettle, combine sugar, cocoa, salt and warm water; mix well. Add boiling water; boil for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in hot milk. Yield: 100 servings.
1 serving (1 cup) equals 134 calories, 5 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 21 mg cholesterol, 88 mg sodium, 17 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 6 g protein.
