I can't begin to count how many times I've been asked for this's become my trademark! It's so simple because it's prepared the night before, giving me time to enjoy my mornings.

  • 1 medium grapefruit
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • Dash ground cinnamon

Nutritional Facts

1 each: 63 calories, 0 fat (0 saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 0 sodium, 16g carbohydrate (14g sugars, 1g fiber), 1g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1/2 starch, 1/2 fruit.


  1. Cut each grapefruit in half. With a sharp knife, cut around each section to loosen fruit. Place cut side up in a baking pan.
  2. Drizzle each half with 1 teaspoon honey; sprinkle with cinnamon. Broil 4 in. from heat for 2-3 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm. Yield: 2 servings.
