“This recipe came from my sister-in-law, who’s an excellent cook. I have substituted gorgonzola cheese, which also works well.”
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 5 min. + chilling YIELD:12 servings


  • 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced


  • 1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Yield: 1-1/2 cups.
