"If you like almonds, you'll love this recipe. I think I might have added a little more than a teaspoon of almond extract. The crunchy almonds added good texture and the white chocolate chips make the cookie look interesting."

"I made several different cookies this Christmas from this site and my husband has liked them all but this one he said was the best yet!"

Reviewed Dec. 7, 2011

"These are just blah and way too salty.

I would greatly modify this recipe. I would use only 1 stick of butter, omit the salt and baking soda, and perhaps use baking powder instead."

"Very easy and the almond extract adds a wonderful flavor. Didn't use the vanilla chips (don't like things too sweet). Still great. Gives you just the chocolate taste you crave even at Christmas."
