"Sweet and salty flavors go so well together and chocolate covered bacon is no exception! This is a fun recipe to make as you can experiment with different toppings. I used crystallized sugar to sprinkle on top of the bacon while the chocolate was setting which turned out to be pretty and delicious. I will definitely make this recipe again!"

"My family loves making these. They are the prefect combination of sweet and savory. These do take some work but when you set up stations it can be fun for all."

"We had a "bring home the bacon" party theme in honor of tax day and my contribution was this. It was a HUGE HIT even though there were some skeptics in the group. I am not much of a cook and even if I can get something to "taste" good, it never "looks" good. These looked exactly like the picture (however, I did only use the green candy coating representing money - no chocolate).

The only thing that could have been problematic was I wove the bacon a little tighter on the skewers thinking that as it cooked, it might spread out a little. It didn't, so I took it out during the baking process mid-way and kind of spread it a little. Also, I did have to flip it which was not in the directions. I think the next time I might try and bake it on its side.
BACON LOVERS - try this!!"

"I just made this recipe. I made it as it said. It was interesting. I didn't put any toppings on it. I also made it with turkey bacon. I couldn't find thick turkey bacon, so I used 2 pc instead of 1 on each skewer. I thought the taste was great. Next time I make it, I'm gonna try chopped nuts, I think that would add to the taste."
