Reviews for Chocolate-Covered Bacon
"So so good yummiest"
"Sweet and salty flavors go so well together and chocolate covered bacon is no exception! This is a fun recipe to make as you can experiment with different toppings. I used crystallized sugar to sprinkle on top of the bacon while the chocolate was setting which turned out to be pretty and delicious. I will definitely make this recipe again!"
"My family loves making these. They are the prefect combination of sweet and savory. These do take some work but when you set up stations it can be fun for all."
"You will not believe how incredible these taste until you make them!"

"We had a "bring home the bacon" party theme in honor of tax day and my contribution was this. It was a HUGE HIT even though there were some skeptics in the group. I am not much of a cook and even if I can get something to "taste" good, it never "looks" good. These looked exactly like the picture (however, I did only use the green candy coating representing money - no chocolate). The only thing that could have been problematic was I wove the bacon a little tighter on the skewers thinking that as it cooked, it might spread out a little. It didn't, so I took it out during the baking process mid-way and kind of spread it a little. Also, I did have to flip it which was not in the directions. I think the next time I might try and bake it on its side.BACON LOVERS - try this!!"
"I havent made this yet but Im making it for Thanksgiving . . . thought Id might add a little something different to the table :)"
"I just made this recipe. I made it as it said. It was interesting. I didn't put any toppings on it. I also made it with turkey bacon. I couldn't find thick turkey bacon, so I used 2 pc instead of 1 on each skewer. I thought the taste was great. Next time I make it, I'm gonna try chopped nuts, I think that would add to the taste."
"Just tried this at the Wisconsin State Fair and didn't care for it because it was all chocolate and no bacon. This sounds much better using thick cut bacon and using a pastry brush to paint ithe chocolateon. Can't wait to try it, especially after the great reviews!"
"If you have ever had pancakes and bacon and got syrup on your bacon I bet you didnt run screaming to the sink to wash it off! The white chocolate is awesome!"
"I made these last night and it was yummy! I love the combination of sweet and salty ingredients."
"Everyone LOVED them! Who da thought!!!!"
"I got enough people to get past the whole "weird" thought of this recipe and we all tried it. Even the people that thought the whole idea was terrible said that it actually tasted pretty good."
"Loved it! First saw this from Food Network Iron Chef Michael Symon...then here. Thought those two endorsements were more than enough to give it a shot. So glad that I did. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! And for the person that rated this a 1...did you actually TRY the recipe or are you just basing the rating on the fact that it sounds like a strange combo? You really should try a recipe before rating it...IMHO."
"This is just - wrong. Oh, so wrong."
