This simple-to-make recipe dates back to my daughter's 4-H days over 20 years ago. The cashews and chow mein noodles give this candy a little different flavor from other chocolate clusters.

  • 2 cups (12 ounces) chocolate chips
  • 2 cups (12 ounces) butterscotch chips
  • 1 package (12 ounces) chow mein noodles
  • 1-1/2 cups cashew pieces

Nutritional Facts

2 each: 171 calories, 11g fat (5g saturated fat), 1mg cholesterol, 77mg sodium, 19g carbohydrate (12g sugars, 1g fiber), 2g protein.


  1. In a microwave, melt chocolate and butterscotch chips on high for 1-1/2 minutes or until melted. Stir to mix well. Add chow mein noodles and cashews. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator. Yield: 6-7 dozen.
