"My husband enjoys these oatmeal cookies. They are good with raisins or dried cranberries too. I chilled the dough and rolled it into balls"

"Excellent recipe. Loved all the extra add ins but will add them to my traditional oatmeal cookie recipe next time. I find I prefer the texture of cookies made with the old fashioned oatmeal rather than the quick cooking oatmeal."

"Reading the reviews really helped me! I don't care for white chocolate, but I had a bag of dark chocolate chips. I had no dried cherries, but I had some fancy mixed raisins. I had no macadamia nuts, but I had chopped walnuts! The cookies were fantastic!"

"These are really, really good. I was leary about adding the nuts, chips, and cherries because the dough itself is so good, but I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out wonderfully. Can't stop eating them."

"Nice texture with a good balance of crispy outside and chewy center. I really liked the combination of dried cherries and white chocolate, even though I am a dark chocolate lover. The macadamias were a nice addition. I'm thinking of trying pine nuts instead, or maybe dark chocolate rather than white. These are awesome cookies and didn't last long at my house. I think the basic cookie recipe is so good it would be great with whatever you might throw in there."

"Really great flavor especially with the macadamia nuts. I made 1/2 the batch without for someone who can't have nuts and much preferred them with the nuts. Drop by stiff spoonfuls onto the pan to keep the cookie together after baking."

"I made these cookies the other day. They were great. My husband commented a few times how he really liked these cookies. My teenage son turned up his nose because they had fruit in them but my daughter enjoyed them. After I started preparing the cookies, I realized that I didn't have any dried cherries. I had dried cranberries in the house and used them instead. That is the only change I made to the recipe. I can't wait to get to the store for some dried cherries and try them again. I have seen similar recipes that call for semi-sweet chocolate chips but I think the white baking chips are great. Thanks for a great recipe."
