A favorite meal for our family consists of this coleslaw served with traditional Maryland crab cakes and corn on the cob. It's especially good on a warm summer day. This slaw is delicious with other meals, too.

- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 cups shredded carrots
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons seafood seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- In a bowl, combine cabbage and carrots. In a small bowl, combine oil,
- vinegar, seafood seasoning, salt and pepper. Pour over cabbage
- mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Yield: 4-6 servings.
