Chunky tart cherries, coconut, pecans and pineapple give substance to this lightly sweet make-ahead salad. With it's pastel color and fluffy look, it's perfect for a baby shower. -Joyce Leach, Armstrong, Iowa

"I have a recipe called Pink Lady, that is almost like this. It is just one ingredient difference which is the coconut. I've been making it for years. I've made it using Strawberry pie Filling also and it is just as good. Everyone loves it and they always ask for the recipe."

"I've been making this for years but the last few years misplaced my recipe and just hated that I couldn't remember exactly what when in it until I ran across this recipe. This stuff is seriously addictive once you try it. The only difference in my lost recipe and this one is that right before serving my recipe called for folding in sliced fresh bananas. Hint: To keep your banana slices from turning dark just lightly toss them with a little lemon juice, I use about a half a cap full , (bottled or fresh lemon juice will both work the same) then add your banana slices to the pink stuff. Be sure to chill mixture well before serving and add you banana slices just before serving. Good stuff! Thanks for sharing this recipe. I thought I'd never get to eat it again."

"Made this for my parents 50th for 85 people. It was the first thing to go. I added the nuts at the very end so they would have a nice crunch. Everything else was made ahead of time."
