Cherry-Almond Balls Recipe

Cherry-Almond Balls Recipe

I have included this treat in my Christmas baking for years, much to the delight of my family. Instead of almonds, I'll sometimes use pecans, and they're equally loved. —Ada Rost, Hernando, Florida

"I actually added almond extract instead of vanilla. I couldn't find candied cherries so I cut up about 15 maraschino cherries and just added them in with the almonds. I think next time I may even add 1/2 c of coconut. These were VERY good!"
