Cheese 'n' Dill Peas Recipe
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
- 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
- 1. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine peas and water. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes; drain. Stir in butter and dill. Sprinkle with cheese; let stand until cheese is melted. Yield: 2 servings.
1/2 cup equals 131 calories, 8 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 23 mg cholesterol, 181 mg sodium, 10 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 5 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 fat, 1/2 starch.
