Cardamom Braids

 Cardamom Braids
This is an old recipe that I like to make for breakfast. The bread is great for dunking in a cup of coffee.

  • 1-1/2 cups warm milk (110° to 115°), divided

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 to 6 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm milk. Add 3/4 cup
