Cabbage Tossed Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 cups chopped lettuce
  • 2 cups chopped cabbage
  • 2 cups chopped red cabbage
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4-1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • 1. In a large bowl, toss the lettuce, cabbage, celery and onions. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients. Pour over salad and toss to coat. Chill for 30 minutes before serving. Yield: 12 servings.
