Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 loaf (1 pound, 20 inches) French bread, sliced

1 serving (1 piece) equals 256 calories, 13 g fat (7 g saturated fat), 31 mg cholesterol, 461 mg sodium, 29 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 5 g protein.

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the butter, celery seed and paprika; spread between bread slices and over top. Wrap bread tightly in foil. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Open foil; bake 5 minutes longer. Yield: 6-8 servings.
