Buttermilk Peach Slush Recipe
"This refreshing drink is a breeze to make and brings a cool taste of summer to any season," relates Darlene Brenden of Salem, Oregon. "Our house is surrounded by fruit orchards, so I've tried this recipe with peaches, apricots and pears."
- 3/4 cup apricot nectar
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cups unsweetened sliced peaches
- 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar
- 5 ice cubes
- 1. In a blender, combine all ingredients. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.
