"This refreshing drink is a breeze to make and brings a cool taste of summer to any season," relates Darlene Markel of Mt. Hood, Oregon. "Our house is surrounded by fruit orchards, so I've tried this recipe with peaches, apricots and pears."
- 3/4 cup apricot nectar
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cups unsweetened sliced peaches
- 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar
- 5 ice cubes
- In a blender, combine all ingredients. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.
