  • 3 cups chilled buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup cold lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • Dash ginger

Nutritional Facts

1 cup: 326 calories, 7g fat (4g saturated fat), 29mg cholesterol, 342mg sodium, 59g carbohydrate (53g sugars, trace fiber), 10g protein


  1. Combine all ingredients; blend or shake well. Serve with ginger. Yield: 3 servings.
