Buttermilk Boost Recipe
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup chilled orange juice
- 1/4 cup chilled unsweetened pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1. In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until blended. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 2 servings.
3/4 cup: 129 calories, 1g fat (1g saturated fat), 5mg cholesterol, 129mg sodium, 26g carbohydrate (25g sugars, 0 fiber), 4g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 starch, 1/2 fruit, 1/2 reduced-fat milk.
