Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Nutritional Facts

1 serving equals 148 calories, 5 g fat (4 g saturated fat), 20 mg cholesterol, 14 mg sodium, 23 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 2 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 fruit, 1 fat, 1/2 starch.

Directions

  1. Divide blueberries among four ovenproof 8-oz. custard cups. Spread with sour cream; sprinkle with brown sugar. Place on a baking sheet.
  2. Broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 3-4 minutes or until bubbly and sugar is melted. Yield: 4 servings.

I didn't have much luck with this recipe- I made it for a family gathering. Everyone ate about two bites and then didn't touch it. It was just kind of boring- I think I will use this as a base recipe and try a different topping (maybe something sweeter, vanilla yogurt or something?)

Made this because I thought it would make a wonderful story of kitchen disasters. However, It was wonderful! I did use a little more brown sugar, but I am sure it would be just as good with less.

Fast, Easy, Light dessert. A great way to use up some blueberries. We did use plain yogurt instead of sour cream - which was really good.

Surprisingly good, very easy to make. Added a bit more brown sugar than suggested :)
