Reviews for Brandied Cherry Balls
"These candies were a delicious adult treat. The filling was hard to work with. I put drops on a cookie sheet refrigerated them for the hour and then before I dipped them in chocolate I rolled the drops into balls. After they were dipped I sprinkled with non pareils. They were a hit. Pretty easy to make as well. You can definitely taste the brandy so if you don't like liquor candy you wont like these. Might also .be good with dried orange or apricot and orange liquor"
"I loved the flavor but the filling was had to work with I added more powdered sugar and refrigerated the filling for 1 hour before making them into balls. Then I froze the balls and some of them still started melting in the chocolate. Maybe I didn't drain the cherries well enough."
"CAN THESE BE REFRIGERATED FOR A MONTH ?????? I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE AHEAD OF TIME AN JUST PULL OUT THE DAY OF AN SERVE THEM."
"I will try this again but the alcohol flavor was extremely strong and they were far too gooey"
"I can never make enough of these for holiday parties!"
"These are absolutely awesome, but be prepared for the strong brandy taste!"
"Instead of tossing drained brandy, why not just drink it? This recipe says I must make it for gifts - if there be any left to give :)"
