Bran Banana Muffins Recipe

Bran Banana Muffins Recipe

Several years ago I experimented with a banana muffin recipe by adding bran cereal. I loved the results and have been making this flavorful version ever since. Try replacing the chocolate chips and nuts with chopped dates for a delicious change of pace. -Alyce Wyman, Pembina, North Dakota

"these are yummy I did not add the chocolate chips or nuts, I did not have any raisin bran but I used bran flakes and a couple handfuls of craisins"

"These are just ok. I have had, and even made, much better bran muffins. If you don't like the combination of banana and chocolate, skip this one. They would be better without the chocolate chips. IMO."

"here's what I changed-I had coconut milk to use up and that worked fine. I added half wheat flour and use Special K Vanilla and Almond cereal. They were great!"

"This recipe is terrific. Great flavor, and easy to make. Everyone we give them to enjoy them and always want to know when I'll be baking again. My nieces in TN also beg my Mom to bake them as well."
