Topped with seasoned biscuits, this yummy casserole is a fun, easy way to please everyone in the family. It's one of my favorite recipes for a quick dinner. —Kayla Dempsey, O'Fallon, Illinois

"To us, this was just ok. We both agreed that there was just WAY too much paprika in this dish (after we were done, we felt like it was coating our mouth). I added in corn instead of mushrooms, which I think actually improved it (gave it a bit of crunch and sweetness). I also used cream of asparagus, as that's what I had in the pantry. I also think the asparagus improved it as well. One mistake I made was buying the Grands biscuits, which are actually larger than the regular ones. So I think they were a bit too large (my fault, no fault of the recipe). I think I'd try this recipe again, but exclude the paprika entirely from the "filling". I'd also omit most, if not all, of the paprika from the biscuits as well, adding in some garlic instead of onion, and maybe even try topping the biscuits with shredded parmesan, not grated. As is, this isn't a great recipe. It's not horrible, but not great. I think with some tweaks, it'll turn out pretty good though."

"The biscuit coating is what brought this dish from a tad boring to quite tasty."

"We've made this dish several times. It is definitely comfort food. We like it alot, so we double it (not the topping, just the "filling"). It tastes great with fresh chicken breasts that we cube and cook in a pan with a little butter. We don't have dried minced onion, so we use onion powder. Tastes great, but don't over-season or it will taste too salty."

"Good casserole but we were not fans of the biscuit coating so will just top with plain biscuits next time"

"I thought the dill was a tad strong, too, and dill is one of my favorite spices (I chose to make this recipe partly because I like dill soup).  I would probably just add less dill next time."

"This is a great dish: it define "comfort food." I put extra biscuits and French onions on top, and it turned out well. Even though I made this on a summer evening, it was a delicious course; during the winter it will be even better."

"We loved the biscuit topping. The chicken mixture was a little tasteless. Also-I had to cook the chicken mixture longer than stated because it was very runny. If I make this again, I will definitely add more spices for flavor to the chicken mix...garlic, rosemary, something to give it some flavor. The dill and paprika just didn't do it for us."

"This is a good basic recipe. Next time I will add some vegetables to it."
