Best-Ever Lamb Chops Recipe

TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. + chilling Broil: 10 min. YIELD:4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon each dried basil, marjoram and thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 lamb loin chops (3 ounces each)
  • Mint jelly, optional

Directions

  • 1. Combine herbs and salt; rub over lamb chops. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • 2. Broil 4-6 in. from the heat for 5-8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°). Serve with mint jelly if desired. Yield: 4 servings.
