Beer Dip Recipe

Ranch dressing mix flavors this fast-to-fix mixture that's packed with shredded cheese and is made to go with pretzels. It's one of those snacks that when you start eating it, you can't stop! This dip can be made with any type of beer, including nonalcoholic. I've taken it to many parties and am always asked for the recipe. —Michelle Long, New Castle, Colorado

This was a big hit at my party. I just kept adding beer until the dip was the right consistency. The more flavorful a beer you use the better the dip is as well.

Happy Paddy........There is nothing in beer used this way that would hurt children. Just don't give them the rest of the 6 pack, unless they are at least 9 yrs old. 1/4 tea of red pepper helped this a lot.

Great dip. I adjusted the dressing mix & the beer to taste. I also used 4-cheese Mexican mix. Delicious!

I made this a day ahead, for our Super Bowl party, hoping that the flavours would blend. It still wasn't all that flavourful. A slight ranch flavour. Definitely could not taste the beer. It was more of a spread than a dip but worked well with the pretzels. Not sure if I'll be making this again.
