Reviews for Bean and Beef Skillet
"The BBQ sauce overpowered the dish. We didn't enjoy it. I will not make it again."
"There should be a circle for maybe. I omitted the cheese, used onion powder, ketchup & added 1 1/2 tablespoons of molasses. Hubby said it was similar to my Beefy Baked beans, which he had too recently. The molasses gave it good flavor."
"I've made this recipe many times for my husband. It's quick and easy and now he often makes it for himself!"
"I've been making this recipe for years. It is my "go to" recipe when I need something quick & comforting for my hungry troop. While is nothing fancy, it is hearty & delicious!"
"I made the recipe as directed. The entire family really enjoyed it. It was so quick and simple."
"It's not a fancy meal, but it's a good, wholesome dish. I use it when I need a protein-filled recipe to be done quickly, with ingredients I keep on hand."
"Made as described - will not make again."
"My family and I were not at all impressed with this dish -- I followed the recipe exactly so no modifications can account for our dissatisfaction."
"It was very tasty and simple! It went great with crusty bread and on a large baked potato!"
"This recipe is very good, I've made it a few times now. I use ketchup in place of the BBQ sauce and I let it simmer on low for about an hour on the stove. I also do not mix the cheese directly into the meal, I let each individual sprinkle with their own desired amount."
