The ingredients for these biscuits are very simple, so you are likely to have them on hand. They're easy to make, and their from-scratch flavor is wonderful.—Jennifer Trenhaile, Emerson, Nebraska

"Delicious! I was happy to find a recipe that didn't require butter milk, I rarely keep it on hand. The biscuits were very tender and flavorful."

"Made exactly as recipe read. Awesome biscuit! Moist and flaky, rose nicely. Tasted a little sweeter than what I'm used to. Next time might reduce sugar or honey a little bit. Batter is really moist but sets up well with a little flour and pats out nicely."

"I didn't have milk so I used evaporated milk and I didn't have the time or space to roll the dough out so I made them into drop biscuits. Despite my changes this was delicious, fluffy inside and crispy outside."

"These were the best biscuits I have ever made. Very moist and flakey. I used one third whole wheat flour, just a splash more milk, and grated cheddar cheese.

I will make these often."

"Sub. 1/2 cup shortening with 1 stick of real butter(diced small), Great Biscuit!

Butter cost a little more but well worth it."
