  • 1 pound beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1/2-inch strips
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 to 2 cups barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sugar


  • In a large skillet, brown steak in oil over medium-high heat until no
  • longer pink; drain. Combine the barbecue sauce, honey and sugar;
  • pour over meat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for
  • 10-15 minutes or until the sauce is slightly thickened and meat is
  • tender. Yield: 3-4 servings.
