"agree with some reviews just reading recipe.

I don't want potatoes&carrots soaked in BBQ sauce either but think I could use a steamer tray on top of the meat where they'd not have to soak up that sauce but could still steam&cook sufficiently. I also would cut down on sauce ingreds amounts&timing."

"I cooked mine about 3 hours too long, so unfortunately the sugar in each ingredient made the dish taste like burnt sugar. Otherwise I think it was delicious. My children loved it. I wouldn't use as many carrots- it gave it a slightly bitter taste. I will be making this again."

"Tasty recipe and an easy way to cook pork chops in the slow cooker. I would probably roast the potatoes and carrots separately next time and serve them on the side. Didn't have any cola, so just omitted it. The pork chops came out tender and the sauce was very good!"

"Too much sauce. I would do half the amount next time. too soupy. I had to dish out over half the sauce. But other than that, it was good."

"Try using 1 cup of ketchup with a 12oz can of Dr. Pepper. This makes it's own B'que sauce. I would roast the veggie and potato separately."

"OMG! This recipe needs more than 5 stars! Tonight was the second time I made this recipe...this week! I did do a few things differently. I didn't add in the potatoes or carrots, because bbq sauce and carrots didn't appeal to me. And, my family likes mashed potatoes the best. I did add in some minced onion and I browned the meat first, sprinkling the salt and pepper on them as they were browning. Later, I saw my daughter dipping her chips into the sauce, and decided to use some sauce with cream cheese, mixed well. AWESOME dip! Definitely a keeper in this household!"
