Reviews for Barbecued Burgers
"My husband made these for dinner tonight! They were great!"
"I thought the sauce needed a little kick, but other than that it was delicious."
"My son makes these at my request because they are awesome. The family raves over them too! It's a keeper!"
"Grilled these on a Big Green Egg. They came out perfect! The sauce was delicious and blended perfectly with the hamburgers. My two burgers didn't even make it to a bun because they looked and smelled so good. Highly recommend these."
"The sauce for these burgers was amazing! I made sure I saved some for future use. The sauce did make the burgers sweeter than we are used to so eating just one was enough. I will definitely be making these again!"
"Burgers are good. Sauce tastes like store bought...excellent!"
"Yummy & easy"
"It was very good! A bit on the sweet side so I added some vinegar and tobasco to the BBQ sauce. Hubby loved it and we'll definitely be making it again. Thanks for sharing. :-)"
"I came across this recipe and decided I just had to try it. I bought the ingredients today and rushed home to start making this delicious looking dish. The burgers turned out to be excellent but the sauce was way, way, way too sweet! I checked and rechecked to make sure I didn't mess up on the measuring but I didn't. I really don't see how anyone can stand the sauce as it is made. Maple syrup couldn't have been any worse. Needless to say, I will make the patties as described but that sauce is on the garbage list!"
"The barbecue sauce is tasty but it does not pair with ground beef. I will use the leftover sauce to make barbecued chicken or pork."
"Loved these burgers! Added fried egg and bacon...not so healthy, but yummy! Thanks for the new recipe!"
"I will definitely make this recipe over and over. It is undoubtedly delicious and mouth-watering. My kids always requests this recipe for atleast twice a week and so far, I always make sure that I add extra vegetables for an extra boost of nutrients. My kids also loves pasta recipes which can be found at Gourmetrecipe. Great sites. :)"
"simply wonderful. Wonderful taste. Wonderful flavor. Wonderful sauce. Wonderful burger. Did I mention that it was wonderful?"
"The burger was good even though I don't like adding oats and eggs to my burgers, but the sauce was outstanding! I had a lot left so I used it on anything I could."
"Everything about this recipe was perfect. The left over sauce is great on wings!!"
"Very good recipe. Made half the sauce between two people and stil had lots! Will make again. Thanks!"
"The only beef burger recipe we ever use! And everyone asks for the recipe :) The burgers stay together well and are NEVER dry...we've been making these for years!"
"Best Hamburger I ever had!!!"
"The is, by far, the best recipe I've ever had for any burger...ever!! The filling is so simple, but so amazingly good! I did change up the sauce a bit though; I used a 12 oz bottle chili sauce for the 1 cup ketchup and then I used Kikomann's Garlic and Green Onion teryaki sauce instead of the molasses. I don't think I'll ever eat another burger recipe again!"
"This is my husband's absolute favorite BBQ sauce recipe! I love that the sauce tastes fabulous without the use of onions & garlic, because several people in our family have food allergies. I can grill a few plain burgers for them and they can still enjoy the BBQ sauce with it. Thanks for the great recipe!"
"The sauce is wonderful. I made the burgers and the sauce. I then stuffed the burgers with shredded swiss cheese and bacon bits before grilling. Additionally I grilled portabella mushroom caps and basted them with the sauce as well. I chopped the stems fine and added them to the beef mixture. I then served the burgers on top of the mushrooms, no need for a bun."
"This recipe was very good. I have been searching for an easy burger recipe, this is it. I didn't have time to make the sauce so I just used barbecue sauce from the store. These did not fall apart and were tender and tasty."
"two thumbs up, can't wait to make this for outside bbq's, this burger rocked! I topped it over with thick hickory smoked bacon :)"
"Loved it. I make extra sauce to use for BBQ beef sandwiches."
"My family loves this burger and the sauce. I make a double recipe of the sauce and use it on grilled pork chops. Very good!"
"Barbecued burgers with a sweet sauce turn out so well, my entire family loves them, right down to my grandson. This recipe is definitely a keeper and going in my recipe box."
"I just wanted to add (while making a batch)... the bar-b-q sauce is great on "dilly turkey melts"... another recipe on this site."
"Tried this recipe, was a big hit with my family! We tripple this BBQ sauce recipe to always have it on hand and use it always for all meats, not just burgers, for barbecueing. It is the best ever!! Thanks for the wonderful recipe! Janet Rodakowski"
"I LOVE sweet meat!!! I put sweet sauces on any meat I can get my hands on. :) Can't wait to try your recipe...it looks AMAZING!"
"I hate sweet meat! It's nasty. If I want dessert, I will eat it. I agree with Sam123"
"THIS RECIPE IS VERY GOOD FOR MOST I SUPPOSE BUT, I AM AN OLDBORN AND RAISED COUNTRY FROM KENTUCKY, AND THERE IS NO WAY I WANT ANYTHING SWEET IN MY HAMBURGERS. I COMPARE THIS TO THE WAY THE YANKEE FOLKS RUINED CORN BREAD BY INCLUDING SUGAR IN THE RECIPE.SAM 123"
"We LOVE thie recipe, although I always cut the sugars, the honey, and the molasses in half because we think it is a bit on the sweet side otherwise. Delicious!"
"I have made these several times. The recipe was orginally in bird and backyard. Very good."
"I have done this recipe for years and every one likes it."
"These are absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing."
"This truly is a deliscious burger! I have made burgers before with store bought sauce and they dont compare :) Thanks!"
