Barbecue Butter Beans Recipe
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) butter beans, rinsed and drained
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 bacon strips, diced
- 1. In a bowl, combine the beans, brown sugar, ketchup and onion. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with bacon. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1-1/2 hours. Yield: 4-6 servings.

"It was horrible.It should be called candy butter beans! Too sweet tasted nothing like BBQ or beans for that matter! Not edible :( (double checked, no mistake made in measurements or anything like that.)"
