This has to be one of my favorite recipes because it can be made in a flash, yet it's full of flavor. I think the honey adds just the right amount of sweetness. Everyone will love it...not just banana lovers! &dmash;Ro Ann Cox, Lenoir, North Carolina
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 10 min. YIELD:3 servings


  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • 1. Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Stir if necessary. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 3-4 servings (3-1/2 cups).

1 serving (1 cup) equals 260 calories, 6 g fat (4 g saturated fat), 22 mg cholesterol, 82 mg sodium, 49 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 6 g protein.
