Balsamic Broiled Asparagus

 Balsamic Broiled Asparagus
This tasty side goes well with pasta or with grilled steak, pork, or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • Place asparagus in an ungreased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan.
  • In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Brush
  • half of the mixture over asparagus.
  • Broil 4 in. from the heat for 8-10 minutes or until tender, stirring
  • occasionally. Brush with remaining mixture. Yield: 4 servings.
