Baked Pear Recipe
This is a nice side dish to go with pork or chicken and it can also make a delicious light dessert.—Valerie Lee, Snellville, Georgia
- 1 medium pear, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Dash ground nutmeg
- 1. Place pear slices in an ungreased 2-cup baking dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg. Cover and bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes or until tender. Yield: 1 serving.
1 serving (1 each) equals 215 calories, 12 g fat (7 g saturated fat), 31 mg cholesterol, 116 mg sodium, 29 g carbohydrate, 4 g fiber, 1 g protein.
