Baked Pear Recipe

This is a nice side dish to go with pork or chicken and it can also make a delicious light dessert.—Valerie Lee, Snellville, Georgia
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 5 min. Bake: 40 min. YIELD:1 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 medium pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Dash ground nutmeg

Directions

  • 1. Place pear slices in an ungreased 2-cup baking dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg. Cover and bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes or until tender. Yield: 1 serving.
