I am a big fan of avocados but don't care for most guacamole recipes. This makes a lovely, mild dip that could be spiced up or down depending on the heat of the picante/salsa that you use. I made a vegan version with soy-based "cream cheese" and "sour cream" instead of the dairy ingredients. Delicious!

We like a lot. But I feel was missing something. Like maybe onions or something, salsa instead picante sauce. Needs something for umph. Great base recipe to personalize.

This is one of my favorite go to dips. I misplaced the original recipe and was happy to find it online!
